Brandi Facemire
Assistant Director
Brandi Facemire (formerly Ramdohr) is currently the assistant Band Director at Huntsville Intermediate School. She is in her 13th year of teaching, 9 of which have been with HISD. Her first 8 years in HISD were as the Head Band Director at Mance Park Middle School. At the end of the 2022 School year, she decided to transfer to HIS in order to dedicate more time to her family. Prior to her time in Huntsville, Mrs. Facemire began her teaching career in 2010 at Ganado ISD where she worked as Assistant Band Director, grades 4-12, for two years. In 2012, Ms. Ramdohr moved to the Rio Grande Valley and worked as the Assistant Band Director, specializing in clarinet and saxophone, grades 6-12, for the Rio Hondo Independent School District.
Mrs. Facemire graduated from Centerville High School in 2006, and went on to pursue her Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Stephen F. Austin State University where she graduated Cum Laude in 2010. While attending SFA (Axe ‘Em Jacks!), she performed as a clarinetist in the Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and Lumberjack Marching Band. She has also performed as a member of the Woodlands Concert Band. Ms. Facemire is an active member of the Texas Music Educators Association, the Texas Bandmasters Association, the Association of Texas Professional Educators, and the Texas Education Agency. When not at work, Mrs. Facemire enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike Facemire and their baby Nathaniel Facemire. |
